Radiophony 29 explored the entwined histories of copper and radio through a site-specific performance on an abandoned copper mine in Kemiö Island, Finland. The work intersected pre-recorded audio material with live transmissions, broadcast and feedback, performance actions, readings and sculptural assemblage. The performance involved sounding the traces and frequencies of copper in the earth and opening up the mediatic channels of sonic matter on site for shared listening.
